The company is in need of a Key Account Sales Manager to identify, negotiate and close client agreements with large multi-location national chains and franchises.  The Key Account Sales Manager will be part of the Key Accounts sales team which reports to the CEO of the company.  Key Accounts is the most rapidly growing part of our business.

Relevant Ads is cash flow positive, thus self-sustaining, growing fast, and offers high quality and differentiated products in the Local SEO space—we specialize in getting location-specific brick and mortar businesses found on the web.  Our customers range from of single-location local businesses to large chains with hundreds of locations across the country. This role has significant upside, as the company is rapidly expanding. Relevant Ads is headquartered in the South Coast area of Santa Ana, CA.

General Duties:

  • Identify, negotiate and close agreements with national chains and franchise groups with local SEO needs.
  • Work closely with the Key Accounts Provisioning Team and Key Account Specialists (account managers), including participating in ongoing account management meetings as needed.
  • Develop and execute strategy for obtaining more/all locations from clients that do pilot projects with us.

Mandatory Experience:

  • 3+ years sales experience offering Internet advertising products to national chains and/or franchise groups.
  • 3+ years experience in an early stage company (less than $50 million in annual sales).
  • Results focused.
  • Ability to motivate others.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong communication and client relations skills.
  • Familiarity with the Internet, SEO and SEM.
  • Proficiency in common desktop applications.
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Sales experience with local SEO or SEM products.
  • MBA
